***m***nt and ***ewpo***t adverbs

Adverbs (副词) - background (表述后台)
Adverbs are often us*** *** give m***e ***fomp3ation about verbs. In other w***ds, adverbs often tell us how th***gs happen.

Examples:
He swims fast. How does he swim? -fast
She s***gs be***tifully. How does she s***g? -be***tifully
I ope***d the do*** wide. How did I open the do***? -wide
She qu***kly f***ish*** her d******r. How did she f***ish? –qu***kly

***m***nt & ***ewpo***t adverbs (表述批评及看法的副词)
***m***nt and ***ewpo***t adverbs add ***fomp3ation about the speaker's op***ion of events. They do not usually give ***fomp3ation about how so***th***g happe***d. ***m***nt & ***ewpo***t adverbs often modify the ***mplete sentence, not just the verb.

***mpare these sentences:
1. She start*** s***g***g happily. (adverb of man***r)
2. Happily, she start*** s***g***g. (***m***nt adverb)

In sentence 1, the adverb - happily - gives m***e ***fomp3ation about how she was s***g***g. In sentence 2, the adverb - happily -gives the speaker's ***m***nt/op***ion of the event. In this case, the speaker th***ks that her start***g *** s***g was a happy event.

***m***nt and ***ewpo***t adverbs - po***ion (表述批评及看法的副词 - 句中的地位)
***m***nt adverbs usually *** at the beg***n***g of a sentence *** cl***se. They can also be plac*** after the subject, *** at the end of the sentence/cl***se.

Clearly, P***l had no idea what he was do***g.
P***l had no idea what he was do***g, clearly.
P***l clearly had no idea what he was do***g.

When the ***m***nt adverb is plac*** after the subject, ***mmas are often us*** around the adverb:

P***l, clearly, had no idea what he was do***g.

***mmon ***m***nt & ***ewpo***t adverbs (经常使用的表述批评及看法的副词)
