Describe a book you recently read.
   You ***uld say
   what book it was
   when you read it
   why you read it
and expla*** what you ***k*** and (possibly) dis***k*** about the book.
   what book it was
As you may know, many Ch***ese people love ***mplex love s***ries and the is perhaps the most popular and well-develop*** of them.
   when you read it
I h**e read the whole novel from the beg***n***g *** the end o***y once 3 months a***, but I ***ke it and I fe*** myself loss when I f***ish*** that novel. I ***nger*** at the last few chapters f*** long enough *** get myself back *** a n***mal ***fe.
   why you read it
It tells us the difference between Ch***ese ***terature and Western ***terature. At the end of each chapter, there is always a ****** wh***h says ‘if the reader wants *** know what happens ***xt, please read the ***xt chapter’. The ****** suggests that these chapters were each written separately over a period of ti***, thus, it functions as a rem***der f*** readers *** wait f*** the ***xt chapter. These were the most develop*** stages of Ch***ese f***tion writ***g.
And expla*** what you ***k*** about the book
M***eover, the reason f*** the novel’s outstand***g reputation and dist***guishable status is that the novel is ‘the direct way *** learn about Ch***ese cu***ure. You cannot read Laozi *** ***nfucius *** understand Ch***ese society and Ch***ese people, while the book is the ***rtcut’. Theref***e, the language us*** f*** this class***al w***k is between f***mal and ***lloquial. In addition, the w***k was ***mplet*** dur***g Q***g dynasty wh***h is the last f***dal empire *** Ch***ese his***ry, thus, the language is class***al but also quite close *** modern Ch***ese; it is ***tel***gible f*** Ch***ese readers without any footnotes. Furtherm***e, exaggerat*** expressions are frequently us*** *** the ***ig***al text *** ***w the ***th***’s irony ***wards the society.
   Another sample answer:
   what book it was
Dream of the R*** Mansions, written *** the 18th century, is undoubt***ly o*** of the most dist***guishable class***al novels of Ch***ese ***terature. The s***ry has been made ****** nu***rous m***i series and TV operas.
   when you read it
I h**e read it (the Ch***ese version) several ti***s, and h**e it handy *** my palm *** case I want *** read it. I th***k I read it the first ti*** when I was *** middle school and it was k***d of diff***u*** (yes bec***se of the huge number of characters and the sub-plots and so on). But then it ***t easier and easier. You h**e *** read it and know the s***ries and the poems bec***se they are so frequently quot***.
   why you read it
I deeply love the romance between the characters, that’s why I read it that often. I don't know much about the Eng***sh version but it'd be def***itely diff***u*** *** translate this novel ****** any other languages. I wonder how o*** can translate the puns wh***h express*** so*** deeper ***an***g, *** probably the best way is *** skip it *** gi***ng so*** footnotes (wh***h will ru*** the novel).
And expla*** what you ***k*** about the book
The ma*** character is Baoyu (寶玉), and his love ***terest is his ***us*** Daiyu (黛玉), who is the d***ghter of his ***nt (father's sister). Baoyu f***ally marries another ***us*** Baochai (寶釵). Baoyu, bef***e he ******s *** this w***ld, was a rock/jade, and Daiyu a plant. The rock us*** *** water the plant. So Daiyu has *** pay back the debt *** Baoyu with all her tears *** this ***fe. (How romant***.) The poems I ***ke best are the two wh***h f***etell their fates *** Baoyu's dream.
And the sce*** bef***e Daiyu dies, when she buries the fallen flowers, is very very very famous, call*** "黛玉葬花".
And there's another famous poem call*** 紅豆詞, wh***h has been made ****** a song. Just the other day I was ***sten***g *** it at a fashion boutique.
I ***uld *** on and on.
