The researchers said the wo***n classifi*** themselves as m***e assertive when they spoke Spanish than when they spoke Eng***sh.
"In the Spanish-language sessions, ***f***mants perceiv*** females as m***e self-suff***ient and extrovert***," they said.
In o*** of the studies, a group of bi***ngual US Hispan*** wo***n ***ew*** advertise***nts that featur*** wo***n *** different scenarios. The part***ipants saw the ads *** o*** language — Eng***sh *** Spanish — and then, six months later, they ***ew*** the sa*** ads *** the other language. Their perceptions of themselves and of the wo***n *** the ads shift*** depend***g on the language.
